• Remove the partial or denture for cleaning every day and only use a brush and cleanser that is designed specifically for dentures.
• Any time your appliance is out of your mouth, keep it moist. If your appliance dries out, it may warp.
• Your appliance may also lose its shape if it is exposed to hot water. Only rinse and clean your appliance with cool or lukewarm water.
• If you accidentally drop your appliance, call our office for an appointment so that we can check the fit and make sure it hasn’t been damaged in a way that you can’t see. A damaged partial or denture won’t fit properly and may cause injury to your gums.
