The philosophy of our practice is simple –“treat each patient that walks through our doors the same way we would treat our mother, sister, father or brother” says Dr. Chalasani, the practicing dentist at Family Dentistry of Royal Oak.
When Dr. Suchi Chalasani took over the dental practice on Webster almost a year ago, what appealed to her were the convenience of the location and the demographics of the area. Located just east of Woodward, Dr. Chalasani says it is a “nice and personable office” and that they offer a more personal touch than many dental offices. “We spend time with our patients, and are not in a rush to get them in and out” Dr. Chalasani says. “We take time to explain the available options and everything about the procedure even before we start to do anything. More importantly, we do not force patients into things they don’t need,” she adds.
The office offers general dentistry for all ages, but also handles cosmetic dentistry, implants, crowns, bridges, laser bleaching, and all other dental services. The use of newer digital x-ray technology significantly reduces radiation exposures over traditional methods and provides the staff with a more details on a patient’s oral health. Sedation Nitrous Oxide (gas) is also available to keep patients relaxed and pain-free during procedures.
We understand that patients have numerous choices when it comes to dental care. “Our fees are low compared to other offices in the area and we do not compromise on the quality of care provided” Dr. Chalasani says. She also noted their $99 coupon special for patients without dental insurance, or their free bleaching offer with initial visit and cleaning. They also offer a 10% senior discount. “

Besides normal working hours, for the convenience of the patients, the office is open two Saturdays a month, offers early morning and late evening hours on certain days, and takes emergencies right away.
